Guests gathered in Southport to celebrate the Southport & Ormskirk Law Society Centenary Dinner.
The special event was held on 18th November at The Vincent Hotel on Lord Street to celebrate 100 years since the Society was founded.

Samuel Brighouse of Brighouses founded the organisation and it was fitting to have a President from Brighouses, Gill Dowling, present for the centenary.
Special guests included the Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, President of Southport & Ormksirk Law Society Gill Dowling, Liverpool Law Society Vice President Jeremy Myers, Michal Braham DL, Jenny McGowen, Mark Flynn, Roy Hudson, Mary Hudson and Peter Flynn.

There were also a number of retired solicitors in attendance who were past presidents of the Society.
Southport & Ormskirk Law Society committee members are Gill Dowling, Mike Ratcliffe, Michael Braham (all from Brighouses), Val Hulton (Cockshott Peck Lewis) Jenny McGowen (Torus) and Kirsty Thomas (Fletchers).

The evening was a great success and attended by a number of local firms including, Brighouses Solicitors, Fletchers Solicitors, Hodge Halsall, Cook & Talbot, Cockshott Peck Lewis, Brown Turner Ross, Peterson Solicitors, Spence Family Law, Willets & Co and Birchall Blackburn.
