Hope’s Help has launched its Christmas Mission appeal.

They’re asking for people to donate £2 each so the Southport-based charity can support visits to the pantomimes for local children, supermarket vouchers for families in need, and gifts for parents who could use a little extra support.

A Hope’s Help spokesperson said: “As many of you know, Hope’s Help began as a small mission at a local school in 2020.

“We’re proud to stay true to our roots by supporting as many local people as possible during the Christmas period.

“Last year, we supported schools across the Southport area, as well as 130 families with gifts and meals over the festive season.

“Now, we’re ready to do it all again for our busiest time of year — and, for once, we’re organised!

“We’re kindly asking our followers to donate just £2 to our Christmas appeal.

“If everyone who follows us donated, it could raise £6,000 and help provide much-needed support to local families over the Christmas holidays.

“This year, we’ll be providing:

“Trips to the Christmas pantomime for local schools

“Supermarket vouchers for families in need

“Gifts for parents who could use a little extra support

“Whether you’re able to help as an individual or a business, your support would mean so much — not only to us, but to the families we’re able to reach.

“Together, let’s spread a little Christmas magic.
