Hickory’s Smokehouse in Southport is inviting you to join them for their Independence Day Yard Party this Sunday! (3rd July 2022).
There will be lots going on for all the family to enjoy with donations being made to Queenscourt Hospice.
Visitors can enjoy: a petting zoo; live music; outdoor games; a face painter; and much more too.
The fun takes place between 11am and 6pm.
Hickory’s Manager Ellie Blundell said: “We would love you to join us for our favourite event of the year this Sunday!
“There will be lots of fun for the whole family, while we will also be proudly raising funds for Queenscourt Hospice.
“Hickory’s in Southport is a very community-focused venue, but we have never staged anything on this scale before – it’s going to be lots of fun!
“We are going to have a petting zoo here, with a Shetland pony, goats, rabbits, and lots of other animals.
“Allday’s Farm in Preston will be visiting with lots for kids to enjoy.
“We will also have a candy floss machine, a face painter, a photo booth – we will have lots of fun props in there so people can create some really great photos!
“We will be inviting donations for Queenscourt Hospice for that.
“We are also creating special desserts on the day.
“It was a shame when the Covid pandemic stopped us from organising events, so it’s really good to be back doing something like this.
“Queenscourt Hospice is an amazing charity and we like to support them as much as we can.
“We have been here in Southport for four and a half years now, and have always been really keen to support our local community.
“We support lots of local schools through rewards for good behaviour, and we hosted a pre-school graduation here recently.
“We are really looking forward to our Independence Day Yard Party this Sunday and would love to see people come and join us, enjoy the day and show their support for Queenscourt Hospice.”
