An impressive £7,500 has been raised for Queenscourt Hospice in Southport, thanks to a successful charity golf day at Hurlston Hall golf club in Scarisbrick.

The day included a charity auction hosted by Paul Crone.

Guests were able to bid on a variety of excellent items including artwork by Clare Wright of Zenith Art, Motorbike Training and kit from Smith Honda, and a Wedding Feature in Mersey Life magazine.

Dianne Gillespie, Event Fundraiser at Queenscourt Hospice, said: “Yet again we have been overwhelmed by the generosity shown to our wonderful hospice, and we cannot thank everyone enough for their support, particularly Mike and the team at Hurlston Hall who staged a fantastic golf event.”

Queenscourt’s next Charity Golf Day will be held at Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club on Friday 24th September 2021, where a number of sponsorship opportunities are available including Sponsor A Hole.

If you are unable to support our event financially, but would still like to help make the event a success, Queenscourt would be grateful if you were able to consider donating a prize. The hospice is seeking gifts for various competitions taking place during the day, raffles and auctions.
