Michelle Foster is inviting people to join her on The Big Cricket Club Walk fundraiser!
The event takes place in Southport on Sunday 13th September 2026 as part of Michelle’s fundraising for Queenscourt Hospice ahead of her taking part in the annual Strictly fundraiser for the charity later this year.
The challenge led by Michelle, the Business Development Manager for Bear Roofing, will see ‘every step taken for Queenscourt Hospice’.
The 14k family walk will start at Southport Trinity Cricket Club, at The Rookery, on Roe Lane in Southport at 10.30am.
There will be ponies there for photography and to wave off the walkers.
The second stop will be New Victoria Cricket Club at Crossens Recreational ground.
Next will be Fleetwood Hesketh cricket Club on Fylde Road in Marshside.
The fourth visit will be to Southport & Birkdale Cricket Club on Trafalgar Road in Birkdale.
Final stop will see everyone heading back to The Rookery for a well-earned drink and a sit down!

To take part in the walk, adults are asked to donate £7, with children £3, babies free.

“As a cricket wife, player and mum to two under-11 players, I am organising a fundraising cricket themed walk as I am taking part in Strictly Queenscourt 2026.

Youngsters can also take part in a design a poster competition.
Michelle said: “Please can every child taking part design a poster for our competition which will be judged by Queenscourt Hospice, and our family will be donating a wonderful prize!
“The poster theme is cricket, Queenscourt Hospice , walking and ponies.
“You can take a picture of your design and Whatsapp it over to me or email me! Please bring it along on the day or before for us to display in The Rook Shack at Southport Trinity Cricket Club.
“I was asked by the wonderful Liz Hartley, the Fundraising Manager at Queenscourt Hospice, to take part this year in Strictly Queenscourt which will take place 14th November 2026!
“All Strictly contestants are trying their best to raise as much as they can for our wonderful local hospice.
