Elsie’s Story has launched its new Fundraising Challenger Coins.

The new initiative aims to encourage and to honour kings-hearted young people who aim to make a difference in our community.

Elsie’s Story said: “We’re so excited to share our brand new Fundraising Challenger Coins!

“These special coins are awarded to our amazing young charity champions who take on individual challenges to raise money for Elsie’s Story.

“This is everything we’re about, children helping children.

“It’s such a powerful way to build confidence, self-esteem, and pride in making a difference.

“How can your child earn a coin?

“Any child who takes on their own challenge to raise money for Elsie’s Story will receive a coin as a thank you for their incredible effort .

“Thank you to Challenge Coins UK for turning our vision into a reality.”

Elsie’s story was launched last year in memory of Elsie Dot Stancombe, who was seven years old when she lost her life in the Southport tragedy.

When they launched Elsie’s Story, her parents, Jenni and Dave Stancombe said: “We want to continue Elsie’s ‘story’; her positivity, love for others and energy of life…..

“The Trust has been established with the principle objective being to make grants to causes in Elsie’s name, the focus of which will be assistance to young people and support for others in the community and across the region.

“This will include community projects, medical care and support for individuals and families, good causes involving fun, and bringing the community together.

“Elsie was the most caring and generous little girl.”
