D’Vine Catering in Southport is looking forward to keeping guests well fed at the 100th Southport Flower Show as they serve over 1,600 delicious meals over four days!

The D’Vine team will be cooking for guests at Victoria Park for their third year.

As a Southport-based firm, they are proud to be involved with the 100th anniversary Southport Flower Show, the biggest independent flower show in the UK.

D’Vine CEO Giles Gottig and Operations Manager Caroline Douglas will be leading 25 front of house staff each day plus their talented team of chefs.

Caroline said: “We have built a really strong team of local staff, who work throughout the year at our events and are kept very busy during Flower Show Week!

“We are really proud to be at the 100th anniversary event.

“Both myself and Giles are passionate about catering at Southport Flower Show.

“We have both grown up visiting the flower show with our parents and now getting to be there on the 100th anniversary is just amazing!

“I am even happier than Giles because I get to see Geoff Bilington and his amazing horses! So if anyone needs me when he is on you will know where I am!

“To work alongside General Manager Alan Adams and his team is honestly a privilege, they are so passionate about the Southport Flower Show and everything that they do at Victoria Park, which brings visitors to our town all year round.

“This year will be extra special, 100 years!

“The Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening was the start of everything and we look forward to seeing everyone throughout the week.”

D’Vine Catering is enjoying another exciting year in 2024 after cooking for royalty last year.

Giles Gottig and his team were delighted to cook for Princess Anne at the Battle of the Atlantic commemorations in Liverpool.

It was a task they thoroughly enjoyed but weren’t in the least phased by, as they continue to serve even more diners in even more venues across the North West.

D’Vine Catering, based in Southport, is once again getting all the ingredients right for a busy few months of events across Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, the Lake District and beyond.

Among them will be the prestigious 100th anniversary Southport Flower Show, at Victoria Park in Southport, where D’Vine is preparing to serve over 3,000 guests – celebrities included – across four days.

The firm enjoyed a 22% growth in turnover last year as it further develops its burgeoning reputation for quality and reliability.

D’Vine Catering has been growing steadily ever since it was founded 15 years ago.

Other venues covered by D’Vine Catering include: St George’s Hall in Liverpool; Liverpool Town Hall; The Bombed Out Church in Liverpool; Victoria Park in Southport; West Lancashire Yacht Club in Southport; Hobbit Hill in Clitheroe; The Aviary in Ormskirk and several others.

The company has built a reputation for creative, affordable catering for a variety of clients.

That includes several weddings each year, numerous bespoke corporate events, birthdays, celebrations, summer garden parties, plus top North West events.

The firm always goes the extra mile to create the perfect menu and atmosphere for whichever event it serves, creating menus tailored to suit each client’s taste and style of entertaining.

D’Vine Catering CEO Giles Gottig said: “Our philosophy is simple; we buy the best ingredients and combine them with a modern or classic twist. If you have a fixed menu in mind, we will cater to your wishes, however if you have absolutely no idea of what you like we will guide you in the right direction.”

Southport Flower Show, sponsored by Seventy Ninth Group, is the UK’s largest independent flower show and attracts over 55,000 visitors every year. It will take place over four days from Thursday 15th August to Sunday 18th August 2024.

Southport Flower Show will have some special guests this year from the likes of Adam Frost of BBC Gardeners’ World, David Domoney of Love Your Garden and CBBC’s Blue Peter and CBeebies Star Justin Fletcher.

It will be officially opened by BBC Radio broadcaster, TV star and DJ Adele Roberts.
