A delicious new dessert bar has today opened its doors in Ainsdale in Southport.

Pud has earned rave reviews since it opened in Churchtown Village on 7 January.

Now the firm is hoping for the sweet taste of success in its second home in Ainsdale, producing tasty puddings, bubble waffles, freakshakes, fruit smoothies and more.

Pud is now based inside Langs restaurant on Liverpool Road in Ainsdale.

They said: “Thank you all for your support and kind words since we announced our new branch in Ainsdale, which opened today (Thursday, 18th February).

“We’ve noticed that a lot of you have been wondering and speculating as to where we will be located – so here’s the answer to all your questions!

“Pud @ Ainsdale will be serving from Langs Six 30 as unfortunately they, like all other restaurants have had to close due to Covid-19 restrictions

“As we operate a contactless delivery and collection service, we are so excited to announce we have partnered with Lang’s which ultimately means we can now spread our radius even further than our Churchtown branch.

“When the time comes that restrictions are lifted and Lang’s can eventually reopen their fabulous restaurant – we already have a plan in action to stay in Ainsdale, albeit from another premises close by.”

Last month, Pud Dessert Co opened its doors at 144a Cambridge Road in Churchtown, where Mixers used to be.

It prides itself on being a “fast and classy dessert bar that offers the highest quality desserts at a sweet yet affordable price”.

Customers with a sweet tooth can place their order online via the Southport Eats App, website or by calling our Ainsdale branch on: 07759 835421.
