One of the most scenic and picturesque running challenges is once again coming to Sefton.
All runners of different ages, skills and speeds are welcome to take part in the Sefton Council Active Workforce 5km challenge later this month (Thursday 27th June 2024).
Hundreds of people are expected to take part in the fun filled run around Crosby Lakeside, the Marina and the iconic sand dunes, with entry starting from just £5.
Participants can run or walk around the scenic course and will receive a medal for taking part regardless of their finishing time.
Prizes are available for the fastest male, female and winning team. People can enter as a team of five or individually and compete alongside friends, family members, coworkers and strangers.
Starting from 6pm on Thursday, June 27th, the Crosby 5km features returning teams from Sefton Council, New Directions, The Walton Centre, Southport Learning Rooms, Willow House Care, Southport Learning Trust and many more alongside members of the public.
Tickets are priced at £5 for Active Workforce members and £8 for public.
