Comedy Bingo is back at Southport Market today (Wednesday 26th February 2025) as a great way of banishing those winter blues, with the chance of winning some great prizes!
Doors open at 1pm for an event, organised by Big Comedy UK and sponsored by Halliwell Jones MINI, that runs between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Admission is just £3 each, which includes a free drink and bingo books.
All the fabulous food outlets and the central bar in the Market will be open during the event for anyone looking to enjoy some food while they play.
There are great prizes to be won thanks to the generosity of local businesses and venues including Crystal Clear Opticians, The Atkinson, Southport Market, Southport Flower Show, Vue Cinema, FenneeKay Hair & Beauty, Tesco, Tapper’s Cafe and others.
The events will take place every fortnight with the aim of tackling social isolation in the local community.
Event organiser Brendan Riley said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone at our latest Comedy Bingo event at Southport Market!
“You don’t have to be with anyone to come down. It’s a fun, friendly environment where we give everyone a warm welcome.
“Our Winter Socials are perfect for people of all ages, from one to one hundred!
“We always have a lovely mix of regulars and new faces at Southport Market. If you’ve not been before, come and discover what you’ve been missing!
“Comedy Bingo Winter Socials cost just £3 each, which include all your bingo books as well as a free drink. It’s a great-value time out.
“People shouldn’t be on their own this winter. We want to tackle isolation at a social gathering that welcomes parents, pensioners, people who just want to put a smile on their face – while also being in the chance to win some fantastic prizes!

Tickets cost £3 each and include all the bingo cards you need, in addition to a free cup of tea, cup of coffee, glass of wine or glass of lager.
