Pupils at Christ The King Catholic High School in Southport have completed a running relay around the streets of Southport raising money for Elsie’s Story, Bebe’s Hive and Alice’s WonderDance.
Seventeen runners from the school, in Birkdale, ran past each of the primary schools that Elsie, Bebe and Alice attended.

Mr Oliver from Christ The King Catholic High School said: “We are really excited to be supporting the three charities that are doing amazing work to support young people and their families through times of difficulty.
“Seventeen runners took on the 12-mile route and they absolutely smashed it.
“It was lovely to see the smiling happy pupils of Churchtown, St Patrick’s, Marshside and Farnborough Road primary schools. Their support made the day extra special.
“The amount we have raised so far will help our chosen charities to continue their amazing work with young people and their families.
“There is still time to donate to help the charities of Alice, Elsie and Bebe.
“Thank you to everyone who has given money and time to make this event a success.
“So far we have raised over £1,700. It is not too late to donate.”
