Scores of bikers came together in Southport this week for a day of fundraising and friendship to support Queenscourt Hospice.
Motorbike enthusiasts roared in from all over the North West for the ‘Bike Meet At The Carousel’ between 4pm and 8pm on Wednesday (10th June 2026) where they enjoyed fantastic live music, entertainment, food and more.
The special event was organised by Steve Haw, the owner of Southport Market Blinds and a former striker for Southport Football Club.
It took place at Silcock’s Carousel and Silcock’s Family Pier Restaurant on the Promenade in Southport.
Bike lovers, families, locals and visitors were all invited to enjoy a packed evening featuring stunning motorcycles, live performances, magic, food deals and a raffle loaded with prizes donated by generous local businesses and supporters.
To make the event even more biker-friendly, extended forecourt parking was available for motorcycles, giving riders easy and dedicated access throughout the evening.
Visitors enjoyed admiring incredible bikes from across the North West; live music from Matt Fearon; magic and laughs from biker magician Dave Burgess; and a raffle packed with fantastic prizes.
North West Honda Super Centre showcased bikes and donated branded t-shirts for the raffle.
People enjoyed great biker food deals from Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant.

“So now all the dust has settled on Wednesday’s Queenscourt Hospice Bike Meet, I wanted to say a MASSIVE thanks to all the bikers, motorcycle clubs and everyone who took the time to ride over and support the event.

Queenscourt Hospice has been providing compassionate care for the people of West Lancashire, Formby and Southport for over 30 years.They care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage.
Queenscourt cares for patients both in the hospice and at home through their In-Patient Unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services. Queenscourt requires over 100 professional staff members to stay open, including Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Physiotherapists and many other roles.
