Coronation Street Star Ryan Prescott backs the Queenscourt Musical Theatre Company in Charity Concert

Southport’s own Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott is lending his support to Queenscourt Musical Theatre Company (QMTC) as they prepare to return with their annual fundraiser, A Concert for Queenscourt, in aid of Queenscourt Hospice.

Following a triumphant NODA Award win for Best Concert for last year’s performance, QMTC is back — bigger and better.

This year’s concert will be staged at Ormskirk Civic Hall, running from 11th to 13th September 2025, offering a journey through cinematic classics and modern musicals alike..

Strong ticket demand has prompted the company to add an extra performance, ensuring more community members can attend and support this worthy cause.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £15 for children aged 15 and under, available now via Ticketsource —interested parties are encouraged to book early: Queenscourt Hospice event tickets from TicketSource. .

Ryan, a student at Southport College, is especially passionate about the concert’s cause.

The hospice cared for his beloved dance teacher, Joyce Court, in her final days — prompting him to become an ardent supporter.

In a heartfelt video message, Ryan encouraged QMTC to “have a fantastic show” and expressed hope to “see everyone there,” sending warm encouragement to both cast and audience alike.
