Potter, Ceramic Designer and Broadcaster Keith Brymer Jones will be making an appearance at this year’s Southport Flower Show show on Friday 18th August 2023.

The Great Pottery Throw Down star will be taking a break from the potters wheel and heading to Southport to entertain the crowds and carry out a book signing.

Keith is a renowned British designer and ceramicist who is also the co-judge of Channel 4’s The Great Pottery Throw Down.

Keith has been using specialised techniques to make modern ceramics since he became an apprentice at Harefield Pottery, London over 30 years ago.

After designing ceramic ranges for retailers including Barneys NY, Monsoon, Laura Ashley, Heals and Marks and Spencer for nearly two decades in his London studio, Keith began to develop his own Word Range of ceramics.

Today, Keith Brymer Jones’ Word Range is sold in over 40 countries worldwide, with an ever wider fan base for the gentle humour of the eminently giftable collection. Keith Brymer Jones’s design philosophy is a simple one; to create stylish yet simple products that are pleasing to the eye, practical in the modern home and, above all, make people happy! The Word Range by Keith Brymer Jones brings together the very best of Keith’s signature style; exceptional, contemporary ceramics that are durable enough for everyday use.

Alan Adams, General Manager of Southport Flower Show and Victoria Park said

“Keith will be a great addition to this year’s show. I know how popular the show is and Keith joins a great line-up this year with Frances Tophill (Gardeners’ World and Love Your Garden), Lee Burkhill (The Garden Ninja) and Jason Williams (The Cloud Gardener) confirmed to date with many more to be announced over the coming months.”

Plans for this year’s show are well underway and the combination of garden and floral displays, cookery demonstrations, shopping village, arena entertainment, live music and much more makes Southport Flower Show a great day outdoors for the whole family this summer.

Southport Flower Show is a registered charity (charity number 1000698) and the largest independent flower show in the country attracting over 55,000 visitors across 4 days.

Early bird tickets are now on sale for £20 until the end of February. Tickets for people in the PR8 and PR9 postcodes in Southport are £18. Children under 16 go free.

Southport Flower Show, Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th August 2023.

  8. Very good blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Thank you!
