The popular Sunset Sessions are back at Southport’s sunniest party spot this weekend, as people get ready to enjoy a heatwave.
Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Sunset Sessions – Tribal Rhythms at Harry’s Bar on top of The Grand on Lord Street in Southport this Saturday (21st June 2025).
You can enjoy Afro and Latino House with ‘live Tribal Grooves’ on the Terrace from 4pm, before an afterparty at Sirocco on the ground floor.

The event returns as the Met Office forecasts a heatwave this week, with Harry’s Bar and the Sky Bar at The Grand the places to be to sit back and soak up the sunshine.
A spokesperson for The Grand said:
“Feel the heat rise as Sunset Sessions returns with a Solstice special that hits differently.
“We’re turning up the tribal energy on the rooftop — think Afro House, raw percussion, and deep sunset grooves rolling in as the longest day of the year fades into night.
“As the sky burns gold, Sunset Ali, Woz Rimmer, and Seani Mac take you on a rhythm-soaked journey — pure vibe, no filler. Gafro brings the fire on African & Latin percussion, while TribAL Beats locks you into a hypnotic state on didgeridoo.
