The third Comedy Bingo Spring Social at Southport Market was a huge success, with another great turnout and lots of prizes being won!
The event was sponsored by Halliwell Jones MINI Southport as part of their Big Love In The Community campaign.
The shows have been designed by Big Comedy to tackle isolation and encourage people of all ages to come together on a Wednesday afternoon and enjoy a fun get-together.
They have been designed to be very affordable for people at just £3 including a free tea, coffee, pint of beer or wine.
Comedy Bingo Spring Social organiser Brendan Riley said:
“Our third Comedy Bingo Spring Social went really well!
“It was a great turnout and the feedback has been lovely. Lots of people there were saying how much they enjoyed it.
“The Comedy Bingo Spring Socials have been a massive popular thing.
“We are putting together some funding now to try and hold some more.
“If any more companies or organisations are interested in supporting these events then we would love to hear from you.
“Southport Market has been a fantastic venue to host these shows. It was great to have Halliwell Jones MINI Southport supporting us with their Big Love In The Community campaign.
“Three of the team from Halliwell Jones came down to take part in the event, it was lovely to have them with us.”
“These events are helping to ease social isolation for people of all ages … young mums and dads to granny and grandads are all welcome.
“It has been superb seeing so many people getting together and enjoying themselves in the great events space they have at Southport Market.”
