There are new car parking arrangements in place for 2024 Southport Air Show.

Parking has previously taken place on Southport Beach, but the beach is not available for parking this year.

Victoria Park parking will replace this to aid with traffic flow and queueing.

Upon arriving in Southport, you will be directed to the closest event car park – please follow the event signage.

Sefton Council said: “We’ve listened to your feedback and comments, and have made parking improvements for a smoother experience at this year’s Air Show. Check out our updated guide to answer all your parking queries!”

Southport Air Show takes place on Saturday, 13th July 2024, 10am-5pm and Sunday, 14th July 2024 – 10am-5pm, with an exciting line-up of aircraft including the RAF Red Arrows, the Typhoon, the Spitfire, the Catalina, wing walkers and more.

Tickets are £12 for general admission with under 16 years of age FREE.

Parking is £10 per car payable on the day.

Via the www.visitsouthport.com website

The address is: Southport Seafront, Southport, Merseyside PR8 1RY.

Traffic is always very busy in and out of Southport before and after the air show.

A new Traffic Management company is in place and they have established improvements to the traffic flow into the car parks.

What are the flying times?
