New dates for China Crisis, The Unravelling Wilburys and The Counterfeit Sixties have now been revealed.

The decision was made with theatre-goers’ safety in mind.

An Atkinson spokesperson said: “Following guidance from Sefton Council, The Atkinson is not proceeding with full capacity audiences in July and August.

“This difficult decision has been made to protect the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff. We understand this is disappointing to customers and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
