Regally Royal Parties will be bringing festive cheer to the spectacular Lights Switch On at The Grand on Lord Street in Southport from 4pm to 7pm this Saturday (15th November 2025) with an afternoon of free festive family entertainment.
Join them for an unforgettable afternoon packed with Christmas magic, music, and merriment. The Christmas DJ will be spinning everyone’s favourite festive tunes and hosting fun games for the whole family to enjoy.
Don’t miss the brand-new Regally Royal Parties Christmas show, ‘Pudding and Pie and the Mischievous Elves’, where Santa’s cheeky helpers go on a playful adventure to find the lost presents!
With songs, games, and plenty of laughter, it’s the perfect interactive experience for all ages.
And of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without a visit to Santa’s Grotto at The Grand!
Come along and share your Christmas wishes with Santa and his wonderful elf snuggles.
There will also be a glittering face-painting and hair-braiding station, adding a little extra sparkle to your festive fun.
So gather the family, wrap up warm, and come celebrate the start of the Christmas season at The Grand — where joy, laughter, and a touch of magic await!
Outside, you can also enjoy choir performances and live music, filling Lord Street with the sounds of Christmas
There will also be festive food and drink stalls, serving seasonal treats and winter warmers
The Grand Christmas Lights Switch On
The festive season will shine even brighter as The Grand hosts its Annual Christmas Light Switch-On Celebration this Saturday with an unforgettable afternoon and evening of entertainment, music and festive fun for all ages.
The switch on will take place from 6.30pm.
Alongside lots of festive fun outside the venue with Regally Royal Parties, inside you can expect laughter, singalongs and plenty of Christmas cheer as thousands of twinkling lights bring The Grand to life in true holiday style.
As the lights go on, the party moves inside The Grand and the atmosphere turns electric.
From 7pm until late, guests can dance, mingle and toast to the start of Christmas with:
· DJ Jeff Wood and Nick the Lunatic spinning festive floor-fillers
· A live saxophonist delivering smooth, upbeat energy
· Sunset Ali on percussion, adding rhythm and flair to the evening’s soundtrack
With dazzling décor, live entertainment and festive cocktails flowing, The Grand promises a night to remember whether guests are out with family or celebrating with friends.
Festive dishes all day
Throughout the day, The Grand Brasserie will be open, serving delicious seasonal dishes, warming drinks and festive favourites, perfect for those looking to relax and indulge before or after the big switch-on.
