The new The Blinds Collection shop in Southport is celebrating its grand opening this weekend, with everyone invited.
The family-run business will open its doors at 96 Lord Street, on the corner of Market Street, between midday and 2pm this on Saturday (24th January 2026).
There will be live music, drinks, food, the chance to win prizes on the wheel of fortune, and the chance to meet The Blinds Collection team.
The Blinds Collection will open in the former Reputation Menswear unit, on the corner of Market Street, on the opposite corner to The Carlton.
The Blinds Collection will provide a cosy and welcoming atmosphere to customers calling in to explore a huge collection of hand-made blinds for beautiful homes and businesses at affordable prices.
The Blinds Collection already runs a thriving shop, Green Lane Blinds in Old Swan in Liverpool.
Owner Jack Brennan said:
“We are really excited to be opening our new Blinds Collection shop in Southport town centre this Saturday!
“We are looking forward to seeing everyone. Call in and meet our team, and see what we have to offer.
“We will have entertainment, with Chloe Tucker, a great local singer.
“There will be food and drink and a superb magician with David Burgess.
“At The Blinds Collection we don’t just install blinds; we tailor-make them too. Our design team will be there to chat to people, it’s a great opportunity to ask them any questions you may have.
“We will have a wheel of fortune in our shop, which you can spin with the chance of winning some prizes, up to £300 in value.
“If anyone does make any bookings on the day, we will have discount vouchers available which will be valid for the next 28 days – they will be applicable not just to you but also to your friends if you’d like to take any away with you for someone you know.
“It’s brilliant to be opening. We had initially hoped to be opening last year but we wanted to ensure that everything was exactly right before we did.
“It’s been worth the wait. This is a fantastic milestone for us to reach.”
The new venture in Southport adds to the fine reputation that The Blinds Collection already has.

“We have been trading from Old Swan for the past 11 years, and we’ve built a superb reputation for what we do throughout Liverpool and the North West. We started on Stanley Road before expanding to bigger premises as demand grew.
“We now have a team operating both within our showroom, and also on the manufacturing side.
“We make our blinds ourselves so you can ensure you are getting the exact quality and size that you need.
“When you order blinds online and try and install them yourself, you’re never quite sure exactly what you’re going to get.
“I love Southport and was really keen to open our second outlet here – with something a bit different.
“We want to make buying blinds a pleasant and enjoyable experience. We want people to be able to come in, sit down, and have a chat over a coffee about just what you are looking for.
“We are a really friendly team here – we love chatting with people. The personal touch is everything to us.
“It’s important to give people confidence and take the stress away from the process.
