A talented young performer from Southport is one step closer to realising her dream of becoming a West End star after securing a place at the prestigious Liverpool Theatre School.
Fleur Wigmore (16) impressed the panel during a rigorous audition process for the renowned stage school to earn a coveted place on its Level 6 Diploma course in Professional Musical Theatre, which is accredited by Trinity College London.
Fleur, a former Greenbank High School pupil who also attended So Talented Academy of Theatre Arts, LED dance and Ignite Drama, said: “My ambition is to become a professional performer, so I’m really excited to have this opportunity to train at Liverpool Theatre School. It still doesn’t feel real, I’m absolutely over the moon!”
Maxine Ellis, Principal at Liverpool Theatre School, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Fleur onto our Professional Musical Theatre course. Gaining a place is a real achievement and a credit to her talent and dedication. We look forward to supporting Fleur as she works to accomplish her future career goals.”
Liverpool Theatre School – whose patrons include dance legend Wayne Sleep OBE and musical theatre star Anita Dobson – has launched the careers of many professional performers, dancers and choreographers.
