Brave members of staff from Meols Cop High School in Southport are taking part in a ‘Wet Sponge The Teacher’ challenge to raise money for Comic Relief today! (Friday 22nd March 2024). 

Nine brave souls from the school are taking part during period 5 on Friday.

Students in Years 7-10 will be taking part. 

Many have paid already via ParentPay. 

Cash cannot be accepted on the day for this event, although cash will be accepted for the bake sale at break time 50p-£1 (donations are still welcome until Friday morning in Reception).

If students would like to wear their own clothes a £1 donation is asked for, this can be change on the day in a bucket or paid on ParentPay. 

A Meols Cop High School spokesperson said: “We’re all looking forward to celebrating Red Nose Day day on Friday and coming together as a school and community to raise vital funds for Comic Relief.”
