Southport FC Manager Liam Watson cut the ribbon ahead of the Gloucester City game yesterday to formally open the Fanzone, a facility that has been provided by Trust In Yellow at The Pure Stadium for fans to use ahead of matches.
Following a request in April 2019 from the football club to provide a supporters bar, Trust in Yellow is pleased to announce the opening of the Fanzone.
The TIY board is proud to offer this new facility to supporters for the 2021/2022 season and beyond.

The Fanzone, which resides next to the club shop, is open for all supporters to use and features Sky TV, an outside decking area, a heated indoor seating area, music and offers itself as a place to meet friends, shelter from the elements or catch up on the latest scores from around the ground.
The Fanzone gives supporters the opportunity to get into the ground earlier and contributes towards improving the match day experience.
The project has cost in excess of £30,000 of which £22,500 of the funding has been provided by TIY, which will in turn receive a share certificate from Southport Football Club for its contribution.

The successful completion of the Fanzone would not have been possible without the support of the following individuals and organisations to which the TIY board is thankful:
Pinetree Garden Maintenance, George Howard of Howard McNamara, Michael Collinson of Bury Blinds and 1881 Properties. Thanks also to Kayley Robinson for adding her fantastic artistry and creative touches with the interior and exterior design.
Finally, the Board would like to extend gratitude and thanks to Dave Barnes and Hamish Morton, Les Rooney for his electrical mastery and the team at the ground for accommodating us at all manner of unsociable hours!
