Southport Pleasureland is now offering visitors free entry this summer!
The family-friendly amusement park, on Marine Drive, previously required visitors to purchase wristbands before entering.
But the new system will still allow people to buy rider wristbands – they will save money when bought in advance – but people accompanying them, such as parents, or grandparents, can now enter the park for free and enjoy amenities including places to eat or drink.
A spokesperson for the attraction said: “There is FREE ENTRY at Southport Pleasureland this summer!
“You can enjoy discounted rider wristbands when you book online!
“Our rider wristbands offer much better value than a pay per ride token system. They grant you access to all our rides, all day, and you can ride them unlimited times!
“Coming as a family? We have three brand new family ticket options available on our website.
“Why wait? Book your tickets today! https://bit.ly/3uNpQwu”

Next door to Southport Pleasureland, but operated by them, is the 35 metre high Big Wheel Southport, an illuminated observation with stunning views across the coast on one side and looking out across Marine Lake and Southport town centre on the other.
The brand new Southport Pleasureland Viking themed adventure golf course is due to open this summer.
Located by the coast, Southport Pleasureland is the perfect day out for the whole family. There’s a fun mix of rides and amusements to suit all ages as well as beautiful landscaped spaces and a great choice of food and drink.
Look out for entertainment and special events throughout the year.
Online bookings must be made before midnight the day before the visit date, to receive the discounted price.
Bookings on the same day as the visit date will be at the full gate price.
Free entry refers to access to park grounds and facilities eg using toilets and purchasing from food and drink stalls. You can still secure your free entry place by booking online in advance, but please ensure you add a Non-Rider ticket to your basket (priced at £0) when booking.
