Southport Makers Market is back this Sunday (5th September!)
The growingly popular event, which is due to expand, will this weekend coincide with the return of the Southport Food and Drink Festival which will be held at Victoria Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (3rd to 5th September).
The Makers Market takes place on Market Street,PR8 1LA, right outside the side entrance of Southport Market, between 11am and 4pm this Sunday.
Southport Market, which officially opened last month following a £1.4million transformation into a new food, drink and events centre, will also be open on Sunday.
A Southport Makers Market spokesperson said: “We are back this Sunday!
“What an incredible line-up of super talented artisans we have joining us this Sunday in the heart of Southport.
“With all your favourites… pies, cheesecakes, dog accessories, jewellery, soap etc be sure to save the date and join us this weekend! It’s going to be a brilliant weekend!”
Southport Makers Market is proving to be so popular that it is set to expand, “to improve the economic revival of Southport Indoor Market”.
The popular gathering, which sees over 60 artisan craft and food makers meet on the first Sunday of every month, first took place on 6th June this year.
Already taking place on Market Street, it will soon expand to include a section of King Street too, from this October.
