A Southport Brownie has won a special badge design competition marking 110 years of the Brownies movement.

Gladys Eklof-How, aged 8, from the St Philip’s and St Paul’s unit, was named the Sefton district winner for her creative design celebrating friendship, fun, and community — the core values of Girlguiding.

25th Southport Brownies is also celebrating its 100th birthday 2025.

Brownies welcomes all girls from 7 to 10 years old for non-stop fun, learning and adventure.

Brownies is full of firsts: your child can explore their creative side, get out into the great outdoors, learn how to look after themselves, others and the world we live in.
