Southport Food and Drink Festival paid partnership
Thousands of families packed into Victoria Park for one of the busiest ever Southport Food and Drink Festivals.
This growing three day event took place at Victoria Park in Southport from Friday 29th May through to Sunday 31st May 2026.

Numbers were swelled by a special Merseyrail offer which enabled adults to come to Southport for £2 return with £1 return travel for children.
Warm sunshine on all three days also helped.
Victoria Park was packed with more than 100 food, drink and artisan traders, to whet the appetites of more than 40,000 visitors.

There was street food from all around the world, with cuisine from Britain, Mexico, Venezuela, India, Poland, Sri Lanka, Greece, Cyprus, USA, the Caribbean, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Sicily, Japan, Belgium, and more.
Visitors to Southport Food and Drink Festival also enjoyed live music and a dedicated family zone.

Artisan producers once again showcased handmade cheeses, breads, charcuterie, pies, chutneys, pickles, chili sauces and sweet treats.
The festival’s drinks offering brought specialist traders serving craft beer, artisan gin, local spirits and international wines.
The event was officially opened each day by Southport Town Crier Kevin Ruane MBE.

Kevin Ruane MBE said: “A massive congratulations to everyone involved in making this weekend’s Southport Food and Drink Festival such a huge success. Another incredible event that puts Southport on the map and showcases the very best of our town.”
