Southport singing sensation Kelly Bond is inviting people to a very special evening of musical memories, inspired by her much-loved grandmother.
An evening with Kelly Bond and guests takes place at The Bold Hotel on Lord Street in Southport town centre on Thursday 14th April, between 7pm and 11pm.
The celebration of Music and Memory will be in support of Dementia UK.
General admission tickets are £12.50 each. You can book tickets using this link here.
Join Kelly as she performs hits from across the decades, guiding you on the ultimate trip down memory lane.
Guests will be certain to be singing along as you relive your own long-forgotten memories.
This show promises to be a wonderful antidote to the past couple of years during the Covid-19 pandemic and its various lockdowns, and you’ll be smiling long after the final notes have faded.
Raising awareness about the power of music for memory is something close to Kelly’s heart. She witnessed first hand the good it can do, when her late grandmother, Maureen, was diagnosed with dementia.
Kelly said: “My late nana Maureen, who passed away five years ago, had dementia. So it’s close to my heart.
“We’re also doing a raffle for local charity Alley Cats and Kittens, as that was the charity she supported when she was alive.
“The power of a song to evoke memories should never be underestimated – whether a memory be good, bad or ugly it shapes who we are as a person and I feel that should be celebrated.”
All ticket sales will go to Dementia UK to help the fantastic work they do. Book now to avoid disappointment.
