Southport FC

Over 1,500 tickets have already been sold for tonight’s much-anticipated Southport FC game against Chester City, as it looks set to be the biggest home crowd of the season.

The Sandgrounder’s biggest previous attendance at the Big Help Stadium was when they hosted 1,633 fans for the game against Chorley on 28th August.

This evening’s match kicks off at 7.45pm.

A Southport FC spokesperson said: “There is a quick turnaround as we are back in action on Tuesday evening with a home game against Chester. The Kick Off for this game will be 7.45.

“After the defeat at Peterborough on Saturday the lads will be looking to bounce back against an in-form Chester side who had a fine 2-0 win against Scunthorpe on Saturday in front of a season’s best gate of 2,676.

“Tickets for the game are on sale online right up until Kick Off.

“There will be no tickets on sale at the gate for home and away fans on Tuesday.

There will only be a limited number of matchday programmes on sale at the ground.

The match is being streamed and you can buy a Matchday Pass here to view the stream.

The Chester Form Line

No wins on the road with just one point in the league from a 1-1 draw at Spennymoor but an excellent 2-0 win at Hartlepool in the FA Cup and on a four game unbeaten run in all competitions.
