Thousands of visitors have been thrilled by three nights of theme park rides, entertainers and fireworks finales at the 2023 Day of The Dead Festival at Southport Pleasureland.
The spectacular event, inspired by the Día de los Muertos in Mexico, took place from Friday, 3rd November 2023 through to Sunday, 5th November 2023.
Families enjoyed a jam-packed programme of acts and entertainment, with thrilling fire eaters, talented grinders, rhythmic drummers, and mesmerising fire spinners who captivated audiences with their awe inspiring routines on the main stage.

There were celebrity guests with Bruce Jones aka Les Battersby from Coronation Street and Joe-Warren Plant aka Jacob from Emmerdale Farm.
The festival was co-organised by G Models & Casting Agency, which provided many of the acts at the park.
Performers from Gambolling Arena Theatre Company entertained crowds with their performances.

Speaking on the Southport Pleasureland Facebook page, Claire Boylan said: “Fantastic night. Fireworks were amazing.”
Steven Hames said: “Wow what a great night. The fireworks were brilliant!
“We absolutely loved all the shows and got some great pictures with the acts who were walking around all night, already looking forward to next year.”

Southport Pleasureland owner Norman Wallis was praised for his generosity for providing a fantastic free day out for disabled guests and their carers at the Revitalise Sandpipers Centre in Southport.
