Southport Football Club play their final Home game of the season at Haig Avenue this afternoon, as they entertain Kidderminster Harriers – with fans urged to turn the ground yellow for Marie Curie!

Supporters are asked to wear yellow or Hawaiian shirts (or both!) and donate to the Marie Curie charity.

Southport FC are currently 18th in the National League North table, with 50 points from 44 games.

A Southport FC spokesperson said: “It’s our final home league game today with Kidderminster Harriers our visitors. The game kicks off at the regular Saturday Kick Off time of 3pm.

“Tickets are available online HERE until 2pm

“There will also be a collection for Marie Curie on the day.

“Southport FC kick off the game on the back of a six game losing streak and will be looking to end the home season on a high in front of the home fans.

“Kidderminster meanwhile come to Haig Avenue in 12th place and with an outside chance of the play-offs after an up and down season.

“They have won their last four games including a 2-0 win at Fylde the last time they were on the road, they have kept five consecutive clean sheets.”
