Sandgrounders Business Club is back at Southport Football Club this Thursday (12th March 2026) with a free evening of networking and some superb speakers.
This monthly event takes place from 5pm at Southport Football Club, Haig Avenue, Southport, PR8 6JZ.
It is a celebratory time to be at Haig Avenue with the club having booked their place in the FA Trophy Semi Final – and just one game from Wembley!
They have just sold out their semi final allocation with 5,600 heading for a packed stadium determined to cheer the team to Wembley.
With success on the pitch, Sandgrounders Business Club invited local businesses to gather together and build the teamwork necessary for success off the pitch.

Sandgrounders Business Club is free to attend with no need to pre-register; guests are welcome to stay as long or as little as they like.
Doors open at 5pm for open networking, before speakers begin from 6pm.
There is free roadside parking available outside, with bar facilities available inside the club.
Sandgrounders Business Club is organised by Southport FC, Stand Up for Southport, Midgely Carpet Cleaning and Birkdale Insurance Group.
This free monthly gathering encourages individuals to meet, network, pitch and develop business.
Alongside networking and sharing great ideas with like-minded individuals, Sandgrounders Business Club provides you with an opportunity to connect your business to an ever-growing local and national audience reached by Southport FC through matchday advertising, branding on the official club website and entertaining clients with matchday VIP hospitality.
People are then free to stay for more networking and to chat with other business owners present.
It is a relaxed, friendly, informal event to help support local businesses in Southport and the surrounding area.
The gathering is open to businesses in the Southport area and beyond.
Visitors are welcome to drop in and stay and network, or chat with other local business people, for as long or as little as they like.
Unlike other networking groups, there are no contracts involved, no fees and no restrictions on numbers of people in each profession.
Each month sees two guest speakers invited to give short talks to guests – one a sponsored speaker, the other a community / local interest speaker.
