Southport FC is issuing a rallying call for any supporters available to help at Haig Avenue next Wednesday (16th July 2025), for a Volunteers Day.
They said: “This will enable us to make sure the ground is ready to welcome everyone in for our first home game of pre-season against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 26th July, 3pm kick-off.
“A reminder that all home pre-season games are free entry for Season Ticket Holders, which are still available to be bought and represent the best value for money.
“Jobs on the day include cleaning seats, painting external doors / barriers, tidying, sweeping and much more.
“We would be very grateful for anyone willing to support us on Wednesday, whether it’s for one hour, two, or three, all help is welcomed and much appreciated.
“Doors will open to volunteers from 9am, with drinks and lunch provided. No advance notice needed, just turn up on the day.
“We are also on the lookout for volunteers to support us on matchdays throughout the season, if interested, please contact operations@southportfc.net
