Southport Football Club are looking forward to playing in front of their biggest crowd of the season this Easter Monday (10th April 2023) when they host local rivals Chester FC.
As of this morning, 2,330. Tickets had been sold for the match.
This season’s previous highest attendance was the 1,390 crowd which watched Southport FC defeat Chorley on Saturday 5th November 2022.
For this afternoon’s game, only 70 terrace and 30 seated tickets remain for Chester fans. No more away tickets will be made available.
A Southport FC spokesperson said: “Away fans should not travel without a ticket as they will not be admitted. In the event that any away fans purchase a home end ticket and are either refused entry or ejected by stewards, no refunds will be given.”
Today’s game is all-ticket.
The deadline for tickets has been extended, with tickets remaining on sale online HERE until 2.45pm Monday.
The Club Shop will be opening at 10am until noon for anyone unable to use the online ticketing service.
There will be no cash turnstiles available and tickets will not be sold in the Club Shop or Bar after 12 Noon.
A Southport FC spokesperson said: “We dust ourselves down and go again on Monday with Chester our visitors, the kick off is at 3pm.
“In front of what is certain to be our biggest gate of the season, we will need to be at our best against a Chester side who have lost just once on the road all season.
“Chester are travelling in big numbers and we hope the Southport public will turn out to support the lads in the right way and make for a good afternoon in what should be a great atmosphere.
“The game is all ticket. Tickets will remain on sale online HERE until 2pm Monday.
“The Club Shop will be opening at 10am until noon for anyone unable to use the online ticketing service.

“Chester arrive in third, guaranteed a play off place and in fine form, they had a 0-0 home draw against Chorley on Good Friday in front of the league’s highest gate of the season so far.”
