Families are invited to enjoy a special Southport FC Fan Zone at Victoria Park in Southport this weekend to see if the Sandgrounders can make it to Wembley.
With the Southport FC v Southend United FA Trophy Semi Final at Haig Avenue sold out, with 5,600 fans expected, the club has worked with Elite Events to create a special Fan Zone at Victoria Park, the home of Southport Flower Show, this Saturday (28th March 2026).
The game will be screened live into a big screen inside the marquee where organisers are expecting a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
All money raised will go towards the Southport FC Foundation.
Mark Dilley, CEO of Elite Events, said:
“This is a massive game for Southport FC!
“They’re just one step away from playing in a cup final at Wembley for the first time since 1998!
“Everyone in the town is so excited to see the Sandgrounders and how they’ll do.
“The game at Haig Avenue sold out very fast so the club are working with Elite Events to screen the match live on a huge screen – 7 metres by 3 metres – in our special marquee at Victoria Park.
“It will be a family-friendly event with a bar, live entertainment, and more.
“We encourage people to book to make sure you secure your place.
“We’re all hoping for a win!”
