As well as commemoration – let’s also talk about the immense positivity, pride, determination and kindness of the Southport community and the Southport families.
Over the past 12 months, there have been so many amazing fundraising and community events.
All have been raising money for some incredible new charities making a real difference such as Elsie’s Story, Bebe’s Hive, Alice’s WonderDance, Hope’s Help, the Southport Hesketh Round Table appeal and more.

We’ve seen colour runs; community days; emergency service days; bracelet making; charity walks; collections; marathons; skydives; school miles; and so many more.
There has been a huge determination by so many people of all ages to do everything possible to make a positive difference.
That’s not stopping anytime soon.

This Sunday (3rd August) Southport Hesketh Round Table and Southport Football Club are hosting a Charity Match at Southport FC to raise money for the Southport families.
This August, Bebe’s Hive hosts its Summer Soirée at Meols Hall.

The charities such as Elsie’s Story, Bebe’s Hive and Alice’s WonderDance all have big plans moving forward on what they want to achieve.
To do so they all need our ongoing support.
They can be assured of that.
