Southport College paid partnership
The class of 2026 at Southport College have achieved outstanding Level 3 vocational results this month, which have seen the students securing places on highly competitive university courses and impressive high level employment.
This year there have been an unprecedented number of A*s , A’s, Distinction*s and Distinctions across the board at the college, with T Levels in Design, Surveying and Planning; Early Years; and Health and Social Care really standing out.
As a result, T Level Design Surveying and Planning students are now progressing to study subjects such as Civil Engineering; Quantity Surveying; and Construction Project Management at The University of Northumbria; Liverpool John Moores University and The University of Salford respectively, to name but a few.
T Level and Level 3 Vocational Health and Social Care students have secured places on a plethora of brilliant courses, included Occupational Therapy at Sheffield Hallam University; Paramedic Science at Liverpool John Moores University; Pharmacology and The University of Lancashire; and Nursing and Midwifery at Edge Hill University.
Furthermore, T Level Engineering students, Archie Nielson, Calum Borland and Peter Ashton have all been selected from thousands of applicants nationwide to be offered prestigious Degree Level Engineering Apprenticeships with BAE Systems.
70% of Southport College’s students have achieved high grades for Level 3 vocation courses; and with a 96% pass rate, their T level results outperformed the national average.
The T Level in Early Years Education, from which many students progress to study Primary Teaching at University, saw a fantastic 100% pass rate and 94% of students achieving higher grades.
