The spacious workshop areas and dedicated demonstration zones provide an immersive learning environment for students to develop essential skills in both traditional and emerging green technologies.

By integrating sustainable energy practices into our curriculum, we are ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the future as the Liverpool City Region and the wider UK transition towards a greener economy.

The event was attended by leading figures from across Southport and the LCR region, including Cllr Paulette Lappin, Sefton Council’s Lead of Regeneration, Economy and Skills; Ian Raikes, CEO at Southport Learning Trust and Rachel Fitzgerald, CEO of Southport BID
