Southport Bijou Cinema has revealed its lengthy list of Christmas movies and shows that people can enjoy this December!
The independent cinema, on Post Office Avenue in Southport town centre, has become famous for the top quality of its festive family favourites.
This year guests can enjoy one of three performances of It’s A Wonderful Life by the Too Friendly Theatre Company to start December in style.
That will be followed by films for film fans of all ages, including a double bill of Home Alone and Home Alone 2; Die Hard (yes, of course it’s a Christmas movie); Arthur Christmas; Gremlins; Elf; It’s A Wonderful Life; and more.

“Filled with festive treats for the family, couples, the young, old and in between – and even the Christmas naysayers – there’s something for everyone this year at the Bijou! From Elf to It’s A Wonderful Life (both the film and a fabulous live production from Too Friendly Theatre), Gremlins to Love Actually, both Home Alone movies and even Christmas controversy in Die Hard, the Bijou has it all, including our Christmas Comedy Gold!
