Dune Radio has been revealed as the official radio station for the 2023 Southport Air Show. Working in partnership with the event organisers, Visit Southport, the Dune team is gearing up to what is looking to be an amazing show this Saturday and Sunday (9th and 10th September 2023).
Dune Radio’s Southport Air Show LIVE is being sponsored by The Vincent Hotel and will be broadcasting from their mobile studio on Southport Beach over the weekend.
They have exciting content planned for on air and via social media, helping listeners soak up the sights and sounds of the show.
They will have all the information you need plus exclusive interviews, air show commentary and of course essential air show traffic updates as visitors make their way to and from the show.

The annual Air Show returns this weekend to Southport Beach so get ready for a weekend packed with entertainment.
In the skies, you can enjoy an impressive line-up that includes: the RAF Red Arrows, Typhoon, RAF Tutor, Chinook, Tigers Army Parachute Display Team, Team Raven, Strikemaster Display Team, Hurricane, Firefly, Spitfire, Mustang, Great War Display Team, Royal Navy Black Cats, deHavilland Vampire and Bronco.
There is plenty to enjoy on the ground too, which is why it’s well worth arriving early, seeing everything there and beating the traffic. There’s the Military Village, loads of vehicles from the Mid Lancs Military Vehicle Trust, Lytham St Annes Spitfire Ground Display Team, The Veterans Living History Museum, the 69th Field Artillery Guns and more.
