Silcock’s Funland sponsored feature
A brand new diner has opened inside Silcock’s Funland in Southport.
‘Millie’s Diner’ offers a fresh new look after an American diner style makeover, while an exciting new menu has been introduced.
The only thing which has stayed the same from the previous Funland Snack Bar café are the famous great value prices, which includes cups of tea or coffee for just £1 each.
The new food menu is fun, easy to eat, and aimed at families.
There are slices of Pepperoni or Margherita Pizza for just £1.99 each; Hot Dogs for £2.49.
You can warm yourself up with a choice of Loaded Spuds with butter from just £2.99 each, with the choice of additional toppings at £1.50 each including cheese, beans, chilli, tuna mayo or sour cream.
Other choices include Loaded Fries (loaded with cheese, chilli and sour cream) for £5.49; Loaded Nachos (loaded with cheese, salsa and sour cream) for £2.99; Chicken tenders (3 pieces for £3.99 or 5 pieces for £5.49).
Kids Meals include Chicken Tenders, Sausages or Pizza with Fries & Drink for £3.99.
There are cold drinks including large Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Franta Orange or Sprite for £1.89; bottles of Radnor Splash for £1; or Fruit Shots for £1.

The diner has been given a new look with a red theme and lots of mirrors, giving it a more modern and relaxed feel.
It has been named after Millie, a prized member of the Silcock Leisure Group team who has worked at Funland for the past six years.
Silcock Leisure Group Head Of Operations Serena Silcock-Prince said:
“We’ve been hard at work on our new look and our new menu and are delighted to unveil our new Millie’s Diner!
“It was time for a change. We wanted to really appeal to families and have been speaking extensively to our customers about what they wanted to see.
“We have introduced fun things to eat such as pizza slices – we’re the only place in Southport that does them.
“We also offer spuds with a variety of fillings, hot dogs, and more.
“The one thing which has stayed the same is the fantastic value we have always offered, which includes cups of tea or coffee for just £1.”
The popular family attraction on the Promenade is open every day this winter, with the exception of Christmas Day when the team enjoyed a well-deserved day off.
Creating a grand entrance to Southport Pier, which is due to be restored next year, Southport’s largest family amusement centre is a perfect place for visitors to enjoy whatever the weather.
The attraction offers a wide variety of children’s games, children’s rides and Southport’s best Ticket Game Zone where the games are fun to play and easy to win.
Funland has once again been hosting its popular Breakfast With Santa events this December.
Serena Silcock-Prince said:
“Funland is famously open 364 days of the year, every day except Christmas Day, our doors are always open for people!
“Funland is looking very festive! We have a great selection of prizes for people of all ages to win.
“Families can come into Funland on any day of the week and have fun while winning their prizes.
“We have lots of variety this year – traditional gifts such as gift sets, mugs and selection boxes; cute toys including the Snow Man and the Snow Dog and other toys such as trains sets; puzzles; fidget toys.
“We have prizes that will appeal to young and old alike.
“Silcock’s Carousel will also be operating every day of the school Christmas holidays for everyone who wants to come down and enjoy some festive fun.”
