Silcock’s Funland in Southport is keeping prices low at its famous £1 Snack Bar this winter.

The eatery, inside Southport’s largest family amusement centre, offers people a range of meals and drinks for just £1 including toasted sandwiches, skinny fries, toasted teacakes, jacket potatoes, hot and cold drinks and more.

There are low prices too on other items, including just £1.90 for toasted paninis.

A new special for the next few weeks will be a Christmas panini, with roast turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Visitors can also buy mince pies for £1.

The cost-of-living crisis and rising inflation has seen prices being raised by businesses across the UK – but not at Silcock’s, which is one of the oldest family-run entertainment businesses in the North West.

Prices have also been kept low on games and attractions inside Funland.

Games start at just 2p, while children’s rides cost £1 each.

People also have the chance to have fun while winning Christmas presents, with the Silcock’s Funland Prize Shop well stocked with festive treats and prizes to suit winners of all ages.

Silcock’s Funland stands at the entrance to Southport Pier, next to the iconic Silcock’s Carousel and Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant.

Funland remains open every day except Christmas Day while the Carousel is open every weekend, and then every day during the school Christmas holidays.

Silcock’s Operations Manager Serena Silcock-Prince said: “Silcock’s is all about offering fun while providing value.

“Costs for businesses may be rising, but for us it’s important that we keep our prices as low as possible for our customers.

“Funland is open every day over the next few weeks, with families able to come in and have a fun time together without breaking the bank.

“While there is a cost-of-living crisis we want to offer value for money at our family entertainment centre.

“We really value our customers, and want to make sure that they remain getting a great deal.”

Creating a grand entrance to Southport Pier, Silcock’s Funland can be enjoyed whatever the weather.

The attraction offers a wide variety of children’s games, children’s rides and Southport’s best Ticket Game Zone where the games are fun to play and easy to win.
