A brand new shop is hoping to enjoy the sweet smell of success when it opens in Southport this weekend.

The Fragrance Shop, the UK’s leading independent fragrance retailer, will open on Chapel Street, between Marks & Spencer and One Below, this Saturday (24th July).

It provides a further boost to retail in Southport town centre, with One Below opening on Chapel Street earlier this month, Great Reads Discount Bookshop opening on Lord Street this Saturday, and Beales department store opening on Lord Street this August.

The new food, drink and events themed Southport Market opened yesterday, while work continues on the new Prestige Stay aparthotel, shops, bar and restaurant development on Chapel Street and the Techedia HQ scheme on Corporation Street.

The new Fragrance Shop on Chapel Street in Southport will be the firm’s third new store in 2021 when it opens this weekend.

After months of online-only shopping, customers can finally spray a little happiness with The Fragrance Shop’s fragrance experts, who have been specially trained to assist and help customers sample fragrances safely.

To celebrate the launch of the Southport store, customers will be welcomed to its official opening event on Saturday 31st July, where a limited number of goodie bags will be given away. Packed with exclusive vouchers and samples, the store will be preened and ready for shoppers to show off their purchases to their loved ones.

Regional Director, Steve Brant, said he is “super excited” about the Southport store opening.

He said: “We at The Fragrance Shop pride ourselves on providing the very best shopping experience through our expertise and passion and I am sure you will see both those factors in abundance when you come and visit us in our new store.”

The Fragrance Shop offers designer, celebrity, and newly released fragrances from the world’s finest houses, including perfumes, Eau De Toilettes, aftershaves, and splashes by popular brands such as Gucci, Paco Rabanne, Hugo Boss, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and many more.

The Fragrance Shop is a proud supporter of children’s charities. More than £1.4 million has been raised to help ill children from 5p of every in-store and online transaction being donated via Pennies. For more information visit https://www.thefragranceshop.co.uk/charity.
