Sergio Aguiar is getting ready to run the first of the world’s six major marathons later this month!

He is taking on the epic challenge to raise funds for the Alice’s WonderDance Foundation, in memory of his beloved daughter, Alice Dasilva Aguiar.

He is in training to run the Berlin Marathon in Germany on Sunday 21st September 2025.

That will be followed by marathons in Chicago, New York , Tokyo, Boston and London.

Alice’s WonderDance said: “It’s just two weeks to go until Sergio begins one of his six big runs!

“We’d love to see your support — please share and spread the word.

“As many of you know, Sergio is running to raise funds for the Alice’s WonderDance Foundation, in memory of our beloved daughter.

“This mission is deeply personal – every step he takes is filled with love, strength, and purpose.

“Let’s stand beside him and help make a real difference.

“Every share, donation, and kind word fuels his journey.”

Sergio said: “I’m Sergio – proud Dad of Alice.

“In loving memory of my daughter, I’m running the 6 World Marathon Majors to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts: Alice’s WonderDance – a foundation we created to carry forward her beautiful legacy.

“Alice was more than a dancer – she was a beam of light. Kind, inclusive, fair, and full of joy, she made sure no-one around her ever felt left out. She welcomed everyone into her world with open arms and an open heart.

“We want to continue what Alice did so naturally – to make dance a place where every young person feels included, valued, and empowered to shine. That’s what Alice’s WonderDance is all about.

“With each marathon I run – Berlin, Chicago, New York , Tokyo, Boston and London – I run in Alice’s name. I run to spread her magic.

“I run to give more young dancers the chance to feel what she felt every time she danced: belonging, joy, and love.”

Alice’s WonderDance Foundation was established earlier this year to empower young people through dance programmes, wellness initiatives, and creative expression.
