Sefton Council Local Elections 2023: Every candidate seeking your votes

Sefton Council will see the 2023 Local Elections taking place this week. 

Voting will take place in Southport, Formby, Crosby, Bootle, Maghull and across Sefton between 7am and 10pm this Thursday, 5th May, with the full list below. 

For the first time, new rules nationally mean that people voting will need photo ID to vote at a polling station. 

Driving licences, passports, blue badges and travel passes, among others, will be accepted. For more details visit: www.sefton.gov.uk/voterid

One third (22) of Sefton Council’s 66 seats will be contested.

The Sefron Council Local Election count will take place during Thursday night and Friday morning at two sites, Dunes Leisure Centre in Southport and Aintree Racecourse.

The deadline to register to vote in the local elections was on 17th April.
