The Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards will see awards presented across 13 categories.

Last year’s Sefton Charity Champion winners were Lily and Lauren Williams

They sprung into action when Zoe’s Place baby hospice was facing closure.

Lily had recently attended a Taylor Swift concert and was deeply inspired by the community you joined when becoming a “Swiftie”. Along with her mum they sourced all the materials they required to sell friendship bracelets.

They made and sold thousands upon thousands of bracelets which led to both Lily and her mum making bracelets before and after school, sourcing more materials, delivering bracelets, posting and even leaving stock of bracelets in community premises to be sold to customers.

Zoe’s place was saved and it was all down to people like Lauren and Lily.

Southport Hesketh Round Table was honoured as a Finalist.

The Round Table has raised over £200,000 for the families and survivors devastated by the Southport tragedy last summer. Every penny has gone to the families affected.

Volunteers usually raise funds through operating the annual Southport Santa Float – with their famous ‘dancing Santa’ – while running or supporting events such as the Southport Mad Dog 10k, the Musical Southport Fireworks, Children in Need Day and others.

Another Finalist was Andy’s Man’s Club, Crosby.

Andy’s Man Club Crosby supports men’s mental health.

Through its peer-to-peer-led talking groups, the club provides a safe and supportive space for men aged 18+ to open up, combat isolation, and tackle mental health challenges.

All eyes are now on who will win the 2026 Sefton Charity Champion Award in a record year of nominations.
