Sandgrounder radio officially launched its brand new ‘Sandgrounder shuttle’ at Southport Pleasureland this weekend
The bus has been very kindly provided by the team at locally based Peoples Bus.
Sandgrounder Radio’s Content Director, Andy Hilbert said: “What better way to officially launch the ‘Sandgrounder Shuttle’ than in sunny Southport on the first weekend where people can safely enjoy all the town has to offer.
“It was great to see so many people, socially distanced, enjoying Southport Pleasureland.
“We had lots of people taking #SandgrounderSelfies with our Sandgrounder Selfie boards and we had popcorn to giveaway too, thanks to our friends at Hickory’s Smokehouse.

“A massive thank you to Andrew and the team at Peoples Bus for providing us with an amazing and unique opportunity to have the ‘Sandgrounder Shuttle’.
“We have lots of exciting and fun things planned for the summer months. Keep your eyes peeled for it across the North West Coast area.
“Also a big thank you Norman Wallis and the team at Southport Pleasureland for making us feel so welcome.”

The Sandgrounder Shuttle will be used daily, during the week, on school services across Southport, Formby, Ormskirk and the local area.
The shuttle also doubles up as a mobile broadcast hub which enables the radio station to appear at and broadcast from events and a variety of places across the North West Coast area.
