Play Haus opens in the Extravaganza space at the book of the venue on Wednesday 17th December 2025 and runs through until Sunday 4th January 2026, across the Christmas holiday period.
Opening hours will be between 10am and 9pm each day, making it a great meeting place for people of all ages, whether it’s for daytime fun, or a great night out.

Southport Market Senior General Manager Jordan Khokhar said:
“We’ve had some great interest from people already since we announced that Play Haus was coming to Southport Market.
“We have a couple of companies booked in, and would be happy to welcome more. Play Haus offers a great team-bonding experience or the opportunity for colleagues to enjoy some fun together during the Christmas season.
“Play Haus will also be welcoming some local sports clubs from across Sefton who are looking forward to some fun, competitive action for their end of year celebrations.
“We have a few families and groups of friends who are looking forward to coming down too for something a little different to do this Christmas.
“Southport Market is the perfect place for people to meet for an attraction like this. It’s centrally located so it’s easily accessible for people.
“We also have all our popular food and drink outlets open, so people can enjoy something to eat and drink while they’re having fun.
“Families can also book tickets for our Santa’s Grotto or A Jolly Lunch With Santa in the run-up to Christmas.
“Last year the Extravaganza Room hosted a series of festive movies,which had a really laid-back atmosphere.
“This year we thought we’d liven things up and bring something new that Southport’s not seen before.
“We have worked closely with Scott Mackin and Moonlight Events to put everything together for Play Haus.
“Moonlights Events is a company that’s based in Southport, and we’re always eager to work with and support local businesses in Sefton wherever possible.
“2026 is going to be a fantastic year for Southport, with all the new events taking place and everything else being planned.
“We have some exciting new things coming to Southport Market in 2026 too, and hopefully Play Haus will be able to give people a taste of some of the things to come.”
