There’s perfect news for pizza lovers after Crave Pizza in Southport announced a new local delivery service.

Crave Pizza has attracted a firm following since opening in the Town Hall Gardens in Southport town centre last summer.

Owners Matt Gregson and Rosie Blackburn were inspired to open the venture after being wowed by seeing pizza joints in the US thriving by offering pizza by the slice.

They’ve brought back a passion for New York, Chicago and Detroit style pizzas, offering something new and exciting for Southport.

Due to customer demand, they have now launched their new Craze Pizza delivery service

Matt and Rosie said: “Lots of people have been asking us whether we can start delivering, so they can enjoy their favourite Crave Pizza at home.

“The reaction has been fantastic; people love it. We’ve had some great reviews from customers online too which is always good to see.

“They can order through our Crave Pizza app any time between 5.30pm and 10pm, seven days a week. We’ve enjoyed over a hundred downloads already.

“We cover an area from Woodvale lights at one end of Southport to The Plough roundabout in Crossens at the other.

“Families will be able to order a choice of 14 inch New York style pizzas.

“We also have a choice of other items, such as nachos, drinks, dips, desserts, salad, coleslaw.

“We will be adding to the menu as we go along. Look out for some great offers coming through our app too.

“We also operate a collection and takeaway service throughout the week; people can either come and sit inside or outside Crave, or can take orders home with them.

“Since we first opened, offering deliveries has always been on the cards. We wanted to get settled first and establish our business.

“We have been really busy during the summer, working with Audio Book to host DJ events, and screening the Euro 2024 football matches on our big outdoor screen.

“Now we’ve reached autumn and people are getting cosy at home, we thought it was the perfect time to launch our new Crave delivery service.”

Crave Pizza opened in the former Remedy building in the Town Hall Gardens in Southport in July last year with customers able to either sit inside or enjoy the sunshine on the tables outside, in the perfect place for watching the world go by along Lord Street.

Matt and Rosie said: “Our idea behind opening Crave Pizza is really simple.

“You come in and you pick, point and pay.

“It’s really quick, good quality and easy food to eat.

“We have 11 different types of pizza, so there is lots of choice for everyone.

“As well as New York style pizza, we also have Chicago and Detroit syles, which are new to town – people have been enjoying trying them out!

“It’s really relaxed here too, being able to order from the counter and then sit back and enjoy, either inside or outside.

“We want people who are in town to be able to just pop in and grab something quickly. It’s perfect for anyone on a lunch break, someone out shopping, people out with friends, groups enjoying a night out.”
