People are being invited to visit Southport Mosque this weekend.
The Visit My Mosque Day event will happen between 3pm and 6pm this Sunday (29th September 2024), with all welcome. There is free parking available.
It follows an open day held at the venue two weeks ago.
Southport Mosque Imam Sheikh Ibrahim said: “Dear Friends,
“We warmly invite you to our #VisitMyMosque Day on Sunday, 29th September from 3pm to 6pm at Southport Mosque, especially for those who have yet to visit.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to explore our mosque and gain insights into Islam through an engaging exhibition.
“In light of recent events in our town, it’s crucial to promote community cohesion now more than ever. We encourage you to bring your friends and family as we come together to strengthen our community ties.
“No registration is necessary; just drop by, enjoy a cup of tea, and connect with our mosque community.
“We look forward to seeing you there!”
